Assignment #4 - ReversesreveR

Do an analysis of one of your favorite songs/pieces (that is, listen to the song and learn to play it by ear). Afterwards, transpose it to be played backwards. Every beat and note should be and exact mirror of its original context. If it is a song, find a way to recite the words backwards as well. Do it however you want.

Assignment #3 - Oddmusic

Music, as we all know, has no boundaries. What you do to create music is up to you. For this week's assignment, find or create an instrument you have never used before, and compose with it. Assignment #2 - The Blindman's Ear

The blind man calmly sits and listens to what some would perceive as a chaotic jumble of busy street noise. His calm demeanor seems to convey that he is very comfortable and what he hears is very organized and clear. Create piece that conveys the sounds of a busy street from the blind man's perspective.

WELCOME!

Alright, so this is the official first entry of Know More Noise. This site is being established for musicians and non-musicians alike, for the purpose of helping everyone/anyone experience music. I will be trying to set up assignments and more information as soon as I can. Hopefully every week I will be able to post a new assignment for those willing. Let me know any suggestions for topics, site attributes, anything. Email me at knowmorenoise@gmail.com.
